The cafe is situated in a prime location within a bustling park that draws a large crowd of people year-round. It is surrounded by various attractions including a playground, a public children's pool, an amphitheater with stunning views of the cafe, sports grounds, and a field for various activities such as frisbee. The cafe is also conveniently located on the main road of the park with secondary roads connecting it to the rest of the park.
The building is positioned adjacent to an elongated rounded pool, which sparked the idea to connect the cafe with the pool and create a unified space. After careful analysis of the surrounding landscape, it was determined that the best design decision would be to construct a cylinder-shaped building. The kitchen, bathrooms, and technical facilities will be located in the middle of the building with tables placed around. The external walls are designed as curved panoramic windows, with glass columns along the perimeter of the cafe to reduce their load. For exceptionally sunny days, curtains are also provided.
The building consists of two floors and three circular walls of varying diameters, which are clearly discernible on the plan. The ground floor houses the kitchen, staff area, bathrooms, dressing rooms, and a seating area. The kitchen is illuminated through the bar and entry area. There are two entrances for visitors, a separate entrance for staff, and the main entrance with a canopy above it.
Circular stairs on both sides of the building lead to the mezzanine, which has some additional tables and room for events. The fencing of the stairs repeats the rhythm of the glass columns and also covers the space under the stairs, where the dressing rooms are located.
There is a green roof, which adds a touch of nature to the room for events through large rounded windows inside it. Overall, the design creates a cohesive and welcoming atmosphere, inviting visitors to relax and enjoy the beauty of the park.
